Utilize office Wi-Fi for seamless communication within the workplace, while maintaining connectivity outside the office through mobile data (3G / 4G) to manage calls efficiently and potentially reduce mobile call expenses.

Implementing an ST softphone solution can result in significant cost savings for your organization by eliminating the necessity for employees to forward calls from desk phones to mobile devices. This setup allows staff members to easily place free internal calls and affordable local calls via the softphone, rather than exclusively relying on mobile devices for all communications.

By providing solely your desk phone number—not your mobile number—you ensure constant accessibility and streamline your call history and voicemail management, fostering more effective communications. The ST500 application offers various features for enhanced usability:

The ST500 application ensures secure communications with TLS and SRTP encryption, offering a range of call management features such as call waiting, holding, transferring, park, hunt groups, call pickup, DTMF dialing, call forwarding settings, voicemail access, and message waiting indicators. It's important to note that usage beyond corporate Wi-Fi networks may necessitate a VPN connection or a Session Border Controller.

The ST500 application is complimentary with NEC Phone systems (SL2100, SV9100, SV9300, or SV9500) but requires an activation code available through NEC representatives. Additionally, sufficient license capacity on the phone system is essential to establish a standard SIP extension.
